 Our equipment screens can be used in conjunction with all major manufacturers.
CityScapes pre-engineered equipment screens are designed and built to attach directly to the RTU, Chiller, or Air Handler. This attachment technique requires no rooftop penetrations.
We have worked closely with the major suppliers to gain their approvals.
We have not had any equipment manufacturer indicate that the addition of Envisor™ screens will void their warranty.
Our equipment screens are engineered to handle adverse weather conditions.
Generally, our engineers allow for 80-mph wind loads. We have had a licensed engineer stamp product drawings to meet 150-mph wind load requirements with some product modifications.
Our equipment screens require very little in terms of maintenance.
The finishes we apply are comparable to those used in the automotive industry, and though not required, would benefit from a manufacturer's suggested cleaning routine based on local environmental conditions. In addition, access to the RTU's electrical disconnect and service doors should not require any significant additional time or labor by the service technician to perform routine maintenance of the HVAC equipment.
Our equipment screens do not impede access to the HVAC Units.
