Bolingbrook - Before |
The village's most acclaimed annual festival occurs in a park immediately adjacent to the site. Since the village code requires the screening of rooftop units, and the completion of the addition left an exposed unit, (and a relatively short time frame to address before the event) the city officials recalled approving Envisor roof top screens, just months earlier, for the completion of a "big box" retail outlet. CityScapes Inc. was able to manufacture and have installed the screen for a Reznor unit quickly, beating the rapidly approaching deadline of the annual event. |

Bolingbrook - After |
Sporting a brand new addition to the municipal complex which prominently exposes a new rooftop unit, and faced with a rapidly approaching deadline, Envisor proved to be the proper solution. |

Often, new product ideas are driven by requests from clients and developed by companies that have great ingenuity. Wendy's International Inc. together with the Trane Company played just such a role in the development of what would become the Envisor rooftop equipment screen. |
The challenge behind the request was to develop a system that would not penetrate the existing membrane material roof, yet satisfy local code enforcement officials. Utilizing a rust-free aluminum framing system and durable plastic panels as raw materials, the resulting solution was so innovative and unique that it was granted a U.S. Patent, and an entire new product line was born.
